Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Gottfred Eickhoff could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern art and design auction, the work Man and woman changed hands for DKK 22,000.00 (€ 2,953.48) - just shy of the DKK 25,000.00 estimate. Other works by Gottfred Eickhoff have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in January 2024 by the work Study for “Navigare”, lying woman at DKK 3,400.00 (€ 2,971.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gottfred Eickhoff konnte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern art and design wechselte die Arbeit Man and woman für DKK 22.000,00 (€ 2.953,48) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 25.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Gottfred Eickhoff wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Januar 2024 die Arbeit Study for “Navigare”, lying woman mit DKK 3.400,00 (€ 2.971,51).
