Auction result fails to reach estimate
In August this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Vandets Sjæl” (The soul of the water), 1995 by Gorm Eriksen for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 201.22). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Other works by Gorm Eriksen have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April this year by the work “Øjebliksklang I”, 1999 at DKK 2,400.00 (€ 321.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im August diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Vandets Sjæl” (The soul of the water), 1995 von Gorm Eriksen für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 201,22) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Gorm Eriksen wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im April diesen Jahres die Arbeit “Øjebliksklang I”, 1999 mit DKK 2.400,00 (€ 321,96).
