Auction result well in line with expectations
In February this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Modern art and design, which included the work “Leg” (Play), 1999 by Gorm Eriksen. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of DKK 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of DKK 2,200.00 (€ 295.49) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Gorm Eriksen have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April this year the work “Øjebliksklang I”, 1999 was auctioned for DKK 2,400.00 (€ 321.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Modern art and design durch, in der auch die Arbeit “Leg” (Play), 1999 von Gorm Eriksen zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von DKK 2.200,00 (€ 295,49) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Gorm Eriksen konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April diesen Jahres die Arbeit “Øjebliksklang I”, 1999 für DKK 2.400,00 (€ 321,96) versteigert.
