Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 537.75 (€ 773.55) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Gordon Arthur Meadows have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Bacino di San Marco; The Venetian lagoon; Murano; Burano in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 4,200.00 (€ 6,180.58).
