Auction result well in line with expectations
The work On the waterfront at Naples (illustrated); and A neo-classical villa on the edge of a lake by Consalvo Carelli was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2004. It changed hands for a price of GBP 657.25 (€ 993.25) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Consalvo Carelli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Napoli, veduta del Golfo in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 29,400,000.00 (€ 26,424.00).

Die Arbeit On the waterfront at Naples (illustrated); and A neo-classical villa on the edge of a lake von Consalvo Carelli kam im Juli 2004 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 657,25 (€ 993,25) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Consalvo Carelli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Napoli, veduta del Golfo im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 29.400.000,00 (€ 26.424,00).
