This artwork by Consalvo Carelli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in February 2012. In the 19th Century European Art auction, the work Santa Lucia, Naples sold for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,477.60) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Consalvo Carelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Napoli, veduta del Golfo in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 29,400,000.00 (€ 26,424.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Consalvo Carelli erzielte im Februar 2012 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century European Art wurde die Arbeit Santa Lucia, Naples für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.477,60) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Consalvo Carelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Napoli, veduta del Golfo im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 29.400.000,00 (€ 26.424,00).
