Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Masque by Gonçalo Mabunda was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in May last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 4,198.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gonçalo Mabunda - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Totem, which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 15,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Masque von Gonçalo Mabunda kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 4.198,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Gonçalo Mabunda mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Totem beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für EUR 15.600,00 versteigert wurde.
