Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2006 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Drawing For Holding Rising Protecting by Glynn Williams. The price achieved of GBP 240.00 (€ 343.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Glynn Williams achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two Girls From 1907 (After Picasso) in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 66,369.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Drawing For Holding Rising Protecting von Glynn Williams zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 240,00 (€ 343,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Glynn Williams erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two Girls From 1907 (After Picasso) im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 66.369,47).
