This artwork by Glexis Novoa achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in November 2013. In the Latin America auction, the work Two works: (i) Wesotinks (from the series To Be or Not to Be: Etapa Romántica); (ii) Moncetancz (from the series To Be or Not to Be: Etapa Romántica) sold for USD 5,250.00 (€ 3,858.59) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Glexis Novoa - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flamingo, Fl, which sold at auction in May 2008 for USD 15,000.00 (€ 9,640.10).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Glexis Novoa erzielte im November 2013 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Latin America wurde die Arbeit Two works: (i) Wesotinks (from the series To Be or Not to Be: Etapa Romántica); (ii) Moncetancz (from the series To Be or Not to Be: Etapa Romántica) für USD 5.250,00 (€ 3.858,59) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Glexis Novoa mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flamingo, Fl beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für USD 15.000,00 (€ 9.640,10) versteigert wurde.
