This work of art by Glenn Kaino could be acquired at Bonhams in New York in December 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War & Contemporary ArtFeaturing a Selection of Modern & Contemporary African Art auction, the work Blue changed hands for USD 280.50 (€ 247.84) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Glenn Kaino achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Graft (Salmon) in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 28,125.00 (€ 21,654.60).
