Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Potted Plants, Montesquieu des Albers by Glen Scouller was auctioned at Bonhams in Edinburgh in October 2020. The price achieved of GBP 1,083.75 (€ 1,203.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Glen Scouller have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Crail Harbour in March 2002 with an auction result of GBP 5,287.50 (€ 8,643.67).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.083,75 (€ 1.203,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Glen Scouller auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Crail Harbour im März 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.287,50 (€ 8.643,67).
