Auction result well in line with expectations
The work San Pietro by Giuseppe Vermiglio was auctioned at Christies in Milan in November 2010. The price achieved of EUR 10,400.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Vermiglio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Christ before Pilate in May this year with an auction result of USD 478,800.00 (€ 449,408.67).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.400,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden.
