Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Saint Paul by Giuseppe Vermiglio was sold in the Old Master & British Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in April 2015. The price achieved of GBP 10,250.00 (€ 14,075.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Vermiglio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Christ before Pilate in May this year with an auction result of USD 478,800.00 (€ 449,408.67).

Die Arbeit Saint Paul von Giuseppe Vermiglio wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.250,00 (€ 14.075,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden.
