Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Tacchini by Giuseppe Romani was auctioned at Il Ponte in April 2019, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 7,000.00 – 9,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Romani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scena Con Giocatori Di Carte in December 2009 with an auction result of EUR 51,150.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Tacchini von Giuseppe Romani im April 2019 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 5.000,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Romani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scena Con Giocatori Di Carte im Dezember 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 51.150,00.
