Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2009 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Old Master Paintings, 19th C Paintings, Furniture and Works of Art, which included the work Scena Con Giocatori E Un Bambino by Giuseppe Romani. It changed hands for a price of EUR 15,000.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 12,000.00 – 16,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Romani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Scena Con Giocatori Di Carte, which sold at auction in December 2009 for EUR 51,150.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2009 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Old Master Paintings, 19th C Paintings, Furniture and Works of Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scena Con Giocatori E Un Bambino von Giuseppe Romani zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 15.000,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 12.000,00 – 16.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Romani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Scena Con Giocatori Di Carte beobachtet, die im Dezember 2009 für EUR 51.150,00 versteigert wurde.
