Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Giuseppe Passeri could be acquired at Christies in London in July 2001 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master Drawings incl.Leonardo da Vinci's Horse and Rider auction, the work Flora With Putti: Design For A Ceiling Compartment changed hands for GBP 1,880.00 (€ 3,061.44) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Passeri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Madonna And Child In Glory, Attended By A Company of Angels in July 2006 with an auction result of GBP 31,200.00 (€ 45,673.14).
