In the Old Master and 19th Century European Paintings and Drawings, including Property from the Estate of Giancarlo Baroni auction, the work Playing With A Fan sold for USD 5,313.00 (€ 4,062.24) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Palizzi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Al Pascolo in June 2007 with an auction result of EUR 36,000.00.
