Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Shepherdess with her Flock in the Mountains; and A Shepherd with his Goats in the Mountains by Giuseppe Palizzi was auctioned at Christies in New York in April 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 32,500.00 (€ 24,567.24) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Giuseppe Palizzi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2007 the work Al Pascolo was auctioned for EUR 36,000.00.

Die Arbeit A Shepherdess with her Flock in the Mountains; and A Shepherd with his Goats in the Mountains von Giuseppe Palizzi kam im April 2012 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 24.567,24) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
