Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Ritratto femminile by Giuseppe Palanti was auctioned at Il Ponte in November 2017, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 750.00 – 800.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 700.00. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Palanti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Donna In Riposo in June 2001 with an auction result of EUR 5,635.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Ritratto femminile von Giuseppe Palanti im November 2017 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 750,00 – 800,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 700,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe Palanti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Donna In Riposo im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.635,00.
