Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Italian the Derby Reale by Giuseppe Gabani for USD 87,500.00 (€ 73,541.77). This price was achieved in the auction Art Treasures of America: The John F. Eulich Collection at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Giuseppe Gabani have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2015 by the work Italian the Derby Reale at USD 150,000.00 (€ 142,018.56).
