Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2008 Christies in London held the auction Nineteenth Century European Art, which included the work Bringing home the catch by Giuseppe Constantini. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,043.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Constantini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An artisan's family in an interior, which sold at auction in April 2001 for GBP 11,162.50 (€ 17,995.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Nineteenth Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bringing home the catch von Giuseppe Constantini zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.043,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Constantini mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit An artisan's family in an interior beobachtet, die im April 2001 für GBP 11.162,50 (€ 17.995,35) versteigert wurde.
