This artwork by Giuseppe Capogrossi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Milan in December last year. In the 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale auction, the work Superficie 535 sold for EUR 327,600.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 180,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Giuseppe Capogrossi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Superficie 106 sold at auction in December this year with the realized price of EUR 419,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 82 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giuseppe Capogrossi erzielte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale wurde die Arbeit Superficie 535 für EUR 327.600,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 180.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Giuseppe Capogrossi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Superficie 106 im Dezember diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 419.500,00.
