Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Superficie 044 by Giuseppe Capogrossi was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in November this year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 18,000.00 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Capogrossi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Superficie 106 in December this year with an auction result of EUR 419,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Superficie 044 von Giuseppe Capogrossi wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 18.000,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Capogrossi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Superficie 106 im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 419.500,00.
