In June 2006 Christies in Rome held the auction 19th Century Pictures, which included the work Lago D'Azeglio by Giuseppe Camino. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,712.00 35% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Camino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Depths of The Forest, which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 22,500.00 (€ 14,452.72).

Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion 19th Century Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lago D'Azeglio von Giuseppe Camino zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.712,00 und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Camino mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Depths of The Forest beobachtet, die im April 2008 für USD 22.500,00 (€ 14.452,72) versteigert wurde.
