Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Colorful Sky by Giuseppe Cadenasso was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 828.75 (€ 732.24). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Cadenasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A pool amidst a grove of trees in August 2020 with an auction result of USD 8,825.00 (€ 7,393.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Colorful Sky von Giuseppe Cadenasso im Dezember 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 828,75 (€ 732,24) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Cadenasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A pool amidst a grove of trees im August 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.825,00 (€ 7.393,60).
