The work The Annual visit of the Doge to Santa Maria della Salute, Venice by Giuseppe Borsato was sold in the Master Paintings Part II auction at Sothebys in New York in January last year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 47,880.00 (€ 42,704.25), 60% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Giuseppe Borsato; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Grand Canal, Venice sold at auction in June 2018 with the realized price of EUR 60,000.00.

Die Arbeit The Annual visit of the Doge to Santa Maria della Salute, Venice von Giuseppe Borsato wurde im Januar letzten Jahres in der Auktion Master Paintings Part II bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 47.880,00 (€ 42.704,25) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
