Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work La distribuzione del rancio by Giuseppe Barbaglia for EUR 1,100.00. This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,300.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Barbaglia - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fiera degli Oh Bej! Oh Bej! in Piazza Sant'Ambrogio. Milano, which sold at auction in June last year for EUR 4,000.00.

Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.300,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Barbaglia mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fiera degli Oh Bej! Oh Bej! in Piazza Sant'Ambrogio. Milano beobachtet, die im Juni letzten Jahres für EUR 4.000,00 versteigert wurde.
