Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Nudo by Giuseppe Ajmone was auctioned at Il Ponte in December 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 260.00 – 280.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 250.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Ajmone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pallido sole in December 2021 with an auction result of EUR 8,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Nudo von Giuseppe Ajmone im Dezember 2013 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 260,00 – 280,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 250,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Ajmone erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pallido sole im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.500,00.
