The work Superficie lunare by Giulio Turcato was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in May this year. It achieved a price of EUR 55,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 57 %. Admittedly, works by Giulio Turcato have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Grande Reticolo in November 2006 with an auction result of EUR 251,175.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 57 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Superficie lunare von Giulio Turcato wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 55.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 57 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giulio Turcato auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Grande Reticolo im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 251.175,00.
