Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bust of an Oriental Beauty by Giulio Tadolini was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 22,500.00 (€ 15,551.56) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Giulio Tadolini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work North African Nobleman and Woman in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 82,850.00 (€ 105,261.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bust of an Oriental Beauty von Giulio Tadolini kam im Oktober 2007 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 15.551,56) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giulio Tadolini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit North African Nobleman and Woman im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 82.850,00 (€ 105.261,86).
