In December last year Christies held the auction Art contemporain - vente online, which included the work The Marble Faun by Giulio Paolini. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 10,710.00 53% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giulio Paolini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Indice Delle Opere Inscritto In Un Motivo Decorativo in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 629,000.00 (€ 595,531.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 53 % übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies die Auktion Art contemporain - vente online durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Marble Faun von Giulio Paolini zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 10.710,00 und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giulio Paolini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Indice Delle Opere Inscritto In Un Motivo Decorativo im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 629.000,00 (€ 595.531,15).
