Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ritratto dell'artista come modello by Giulio Paolini was sold in the 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale Part II auction at Christies in Milan in June last year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 9,450.00 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giulio Paolini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Indice Delle Opere Inscritto In Un Motivo Decorativo in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 629,000.00 (€ 595,531.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ritratto dell'artista come modello von Giulio Paolini wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale Part II bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 9.450,00 und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giulio Paolini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Indice Delle Opere Inscritto In Un Motivo Decorativo im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 629.000,00 (€ 595.531,15).
