Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Madonna And Child With Saint John The Baptist by Giuliano Bugiardini was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in February 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 47,500.00 (€ 38,899.35). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuliano Bugiardini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of a young gentleman, half-length, in a blue doublet and white shirt, with a black hat in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 1,350,000.00 (€ 1,168,628.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Madonna And Child With Saint John The Baptist von Giuliano Bugiardini im Februar 2018 bei Sothebys in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
