Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Garofani e rosa by Giovanni Stradone was auctioned at Christies in Rome in December 2002. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,612.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giovanni Stradone - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Il Colosseo di notte, which sold at auction in December 2002 for EUR 5,580.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Garofani e rosa von Giovanni Stradone kam im Dezember 2002 bei Christies in Rom zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.612,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Stradone mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Il Colosseo di notte beobachtet, die im Dezember 2002 für EUR 5.580,00 versteigert wurde.
