A top price for Giovanni Patrone - as previously expected
The work Riviera Direct To New York, "Italian Line" by Giovanni Patrone was sold in the Vintage Posters auction at Christies in London in May 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,630.60) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Riviera Direct To New York, "Italian Line" is the most expensive artwork by Giovanni Patrone that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Riviera Direct To New York, "Italian Line" von Giovanni Patrone wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion Vintage Posters bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.630,60) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Riviera Direct To New York, "Italian Line" das teuerste Kunstwerk von Giovanni Patrone, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
