Auction result well in line with expectations
The work India, Lloyd Triestino by Giovanni Patrone was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 700.00 – 900.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 750.00 (€ 876.87) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giovanni Patrone - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Riviera Direct To New York, "Italian Line", which sold at auction in May 2013 for GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,630.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit India, Lloyd Triestino von Giovanni Patrone kam im Mai 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 700,00 – 900,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 750,00 (€ 876,87) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Patrone mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Riviera Direct To New York, "Italian Line" beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.630,60) versteigert wurde.
