Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2002 Christies in Paris held the auction PEINTURES ANCIENNES ET DU XIXEME SIECLE, which included the work La Tentation de Saint Antoine by Giovanni Odazzi. The price achieved of EUR 17,625.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giovanni Odazzi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Diana And Acteon, which sold at auction in December 2012 for GBP 37,250.00 (€ 45,939.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2002 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion PEINTURES ANCIENNES ET DU XIXEME SIECLE durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Tentation de Saint Antoine von Giovanni Odazzi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 17.625,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Odazzi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Diana And Acteon beobachtet, die im Dezember 2012 für GBP 37.250,00 (€ 45.939,60) versteigert wurde.
