In April 2008 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Contemporary Art 1953-2003, A Private Collection, which included the work Tentativo Di Esistenza by Giovanni Manfredini. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,500.00 67% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Giovanni Manfredini; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Tentativo Di Esistenza sold at auction in April 2008 with the realized price of EUR 4,000.00.

Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Contemporary Art 1953-2003, A Private Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tentativo Di Esistenza von Giovanni Manfredini zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.500,00 und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Giovanni Manfredini; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Tentativo Di Esistenza im April 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 4.000,00.
