Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work A Bird Of Prey, Ducks And Ducklings In A Landscape by Giovanni Crivelli was auctioned at Christies in New York in June 2011, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,291.06). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Crivelli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Galli, Colombe E Un Pappagallo Papere, Porcellini D'India E Un Coniglio Presso Un Lago in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 36,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit A Bird Of Prey, Ducks And Ducklings In A Landscape von Giovanni Crivelli im Juni 2011 bei Christies in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.291,06) den Besitzer.
