Sold at the upper estimate price
In February 2020 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Contemporary Art Online | Milan, which included the work Forma 91 by Giovanni Campus. The auction ended at the price of EUR 1,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 800.00 – 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giovanni Campus - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Struttura modulare, which sold at auction in June 2016 for EUR 4,000.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Februar 2020 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Contemporary Art Online | Milan durch, in der auch die Arbeit Forma 91 von Giovanni Campus zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Campus mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Struttura modulare beobachtet, die im Juni 2016 für EUR 4.000,00 versteigert wurde.
