Despite a disappointment, a good price for Giovanni Battista Merano

In March 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Christ Among the Doctors by Giovanni Battista Merano for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,648.77). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master & British Paintings at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Christ Among the Doctors is the most expensive artwork by Giovanni Battista Merano that we have observed at auction so far.

Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Giovanni Battista Merano

Im März 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Christ Among the Doctors von Giovanni Battista Merano für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.648,77) erwerben.
