Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Giovanni Bartolena could be acquired at Il Ponte in November 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the XIX and XX Century Paintings auction, the work Veduta di campagna con cavalli changed hands for EUR 8,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 9,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giovanni Bartolena have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Piazza Cavour A Livorno in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 34,350.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giovanni Bartolena konnte im November 2013 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion XIX and XX Century Paintings wechselte die Arbeit Veduta di campagna con cavalli für EUR 8.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 9.000,00 – 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giovanni Bartolena auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Piazza Cavour A Livorno im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 34.350,00.
