Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Buoi nei campi by Giovanni Bartolena was auctioned at Christies in Rome in December 2001. Here, the upper estimate of ITL 7,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for ITL 7,962,500.00 (€ 7,156.50). Admittedly, works by Giovanni Bartolena have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Piazza Cavour A Livorno in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 34,350.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Buoi nei campi von Giovanni Bartolena kam im Dezember 2001 bei Christies in Rom zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von ITL 7.000.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für ITL 7.962.500,00 (€ 7.156,50) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giovanni Bartolena auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Piazza Cavour A Livorno im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 34.350,00.
