Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Christies in Paris held the auction Dessins Anciens et du XIXe Siècle, which included the work Tête de Vierge by Giovanni Antonio Bazzi. The price achieved of EUR 25,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Antonio Bazzi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Holy Family With The Infant Baptist In A Landscape in January 2011 with an auction result of USD 722,500.00 (€ 526,795.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2018 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Dessins Anciens et du XIXe Siècle durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tête de Vierge von Giovanni Antonio Bazzi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 25.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Antonio Bazzi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Holy Family With The Infant Baptist In A Landscape im Januar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 722.500,00 (€ 526.795,48).
