Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work Ragazzo Di Fronte, 1905 by Giovanni Battista Crema for EUR 1,240.00. This price was achieved in the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO at Christies in Rome and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,300.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Giovanni Battista Crema have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Scena Medioevale in December 2003 with an auction result of EUR 8,060.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2004 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Ragazzo Di Fronte, 1905 von Giovanni Battista Crema für EUR 1.240,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO bei Christies in Rom erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.300,00 – 1.800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giovanni Battista Crema auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Scena Medioevale im Dezember 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.060,00.
