The price achieved of GBP 512,500.00 (€ 607,174.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giorgio de Chirico achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il Pomeriggio Di Arianna (Ariadne’S Afternoon) in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 15,890,400.00 (€ 13,643,341.63).
