Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Senza titolo by Giorgio Celiberti was auctioned at Il Ponte in December 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,700.00 – 1,900.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,500.00. Other works by Giorgio Celiberti have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2015 by the work Il cuore della torre at EUR 3,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Senza titolo von Giorgio Celiberti im Dezember 2012 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.700,00 – 1.900,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.500,00 den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Giorgio Celiberti wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2015 die Arbeit Il cuore della torre mit EUR 3.000,00.
