This artwork by Gino de Dominicis achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in April 2008. In the Contemporary Art 1953-2003, A Private Collection auction, the work Senza Titolo sold for EUR 96,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gino de Dominicis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Senza Titolo in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 492,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gino de Dominicis erzielte im April 2008 bei Sothebys in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art 1953-2003, A Private Collection wurde die Arbeit Senza Titolo für EUR 96.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gino de Dominicis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Senza Titolo im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 492.500,00.
