Auction result fails to reach estimate
When this work without title by Gina Pellón was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in August this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had set an estimate of DKK 2,000.00 but failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 600.00 (€ 80.49). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gina Pellón achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Les fossoyeurs de la pluie” in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 24,000.00 (€ 20,975.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Gina Pellón im August diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 2.000,00 angegeben, edn dieses Werk bei seiner Vertsiegerung jedoch nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 600,00 (€ 80,49) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gina Pellón erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Les fossoyeurs de la pluie” im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 24.000,00 (€ 20.975,35).
