It achieved a price of USD 8,365.00 (€ 8,539.20), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gilbert Munger - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lake Marian, Humboldt Range, Nevada, which sold at auction in January this year for USD 30,240.00 (€ 27,850.43).
